General Chapter Information:
Our chapter was founded in 1972.
We currently have approximately 45 members and are always happy to welcome
new comers. It is very exciting to share our love of embroidery with others
who have the same interest. We are all about learning together and are a
very active group.
Meeting Times and Locations:

Our meetings are held the 1st
Monday (2nd Monday if first is a holiday) from January-June and from
September-December, Program begins at 9:30 AM, at the Riverview Public Library,
14300 Sibley Road, Riverview, MI. Lunch begins at 12 noon; please bring a bag
lunch. Business meeting follows lunch, approximately 12:30 PM.
Programs for the Coming
Year:
This year we will learn how easy it is to finish Biscornu; will introduce an
outreach stitching project; will welcome Gail Sirna as she shares, “Insight Into
Judging Needlework;” and enjoy a June Luncheon at a local restaurant. After our
summer break, we gather together to stitch a Silver Beaded Rectangular Pendant;
followed by a Goldwork Workshop and a Member’s Choice Canvas class. We will
complete the year 2010 with a Holiday Luncheon at a local restaurant.
