We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Calhoun County Intermediate

Program. Stitch Night is the 4th Wednesday of each month (except November and
December) at the same location. The CISD is an excellent location with Internet
access and electrical outlets for each individual.
Special
Activities:
August meeting: potluck picnic
December: the annual Christmas party
The first weekend after Labor Day: Needlework Exhibit at the Marshall Public
Library. This is the same weekend as the famous Marshall Tour or Homes.
Annual Public Stitch-In Day
We participate in several Outreach activities which
include: Soldier's Kissing Pillows, donation of stitching supplies and household
goods to Ronald McDonald House, stitched bookmarks for local libraries.
Our 2008 year long project
was The Legacy Sampler designed by the Madison Area EGA. The chart and
instructions are professionally done. The sampler information is
interesting. And it was a fun sampler to stitch. We had some members who
chose to work on a different project. Pictured is Dee Vela with her completed
project.
